Initial consultation

My bridal service begins with a thorough consultation, discussing with you all your ideas, thoughts and aspects of you wedding.

Ideally this visit should be at least six months before the wedding day for a consultation.

Ideally you will already have details of your chosen dress or are planning to buy, as the type of neckline the dress has needs to be taken in to consideration. This will help us decide whether your hair best suits you with it up or down.

We will also discuss whether you have any ideas of wearing any accessories such as tiaras, a veil, flowers or slides. Whenever I use flowers in a bridal design you can be sure they are real and bursting with vibrant colours to compliment your wedding dress.

I will bring along my extensive portfolio and a hand full of bridal stylebooks for you to look through. This will help you gain ideas if you haven't already decided on what type of style to go for. Further designs can be seen here in my portfolio.

By the end of the consultation you will have an idea about the kind of style you want, and whether you would like me to also style the hair of any bridesmaids, mothers or other members of the wedding party.

To achieve your desired look you may require other services ahead of your big day. This may include a colour or cut. In these instances I can draw up a pre-wedding hair plan to ensure your hair is healthy, glossy and vibrant in plenty of time for your wedding.

Trial run

It is always a good idea to try out the style you have chosen ahead of the big day. This will last between one and three hours depending on whether you wish the bridesmaids to be involved.

I have found it truly beneficial to have a trial run as it instantly removes on of the biggest causes of stress on your wedding day. You will awake on your special day knowing that you are already destined to look your best.

Everyone can benefit from a trial run, but please don't worry if any entourage cannot make our appointment. Often simply seeing a recent photograph can help me assess what will suit them.

I will visit you for a trial run at least six weeks before your big day. Additional trial runs can also be arranged if you wish.

It would be best if your trial run could be done in daylight. This is just because I need to see what I'm doing and you need to see what I've done!

The Big Day Arrives

Relax! We have planned together for this important part of your big day. You know what to expect from the trial run and you should sit back and let me make your hair beautiful for your wedding day.

On your wedding day I will turn up at the agreed time and location, this can be at your home, a hotel or the venue of your choice as I will bring everything to you in plenty of time to ensure that you and your entourage are ready in time.
